10: What We All Really Need When It Comes to Self-Care: 7 Types of Rest

This week I’m coming to you from Southern California, where I’m visiting my family and getting some much needed rest while honoring some downtime.

This time with family has helped me to slow down and connect with them and to myself, by just enjoying rest in several different ways. It also got me thinking, why is it so hard to rest?

Did you know that there are actually 7 types of rest? I want to share them with you today, and I hope that you will take some time to consider resting. Give yourself permission to take care of yourself. No guilt. No judgment. Just rest.

If you want a handout describing today’s actions, head over to my website, https://www.authenticandbrave.com/ for a free download. I hope you find a little tip in today’s talk that resonates with you, and you know that you are not alone on your journey of self-discovery and self-care.

Until next time, keep on practicing and keep on being authentic and brave!
